About the LCAP
The LCAP is intended as a comprehensive planning tool to support student outcomes and is an important component of the local control funding formula (LCFF). Under the LCFF, all local educational agencies (LEAs) including school districts, county offices of education (COEs), and charter schools are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified pursuant to California Education Code (EC) sections 52060(d), 52066(d), and 47605. The LCAP is a tool for local educational agencies to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes.
The LCAP Community Report, prepared in November 2021, tells the story of WMCHS’s 3-year LCAP beginning in 2021 using the most recently available data from 2019, 2020, and 2021. Each year, WMCHS reviews the progress in meeting our students' needs by looking at data and gathering feedback from students, families, staff, and the community.
